Summer Assignment 2010
Welcome to the Summer Assignment 10 for AP World History. The tasks to complete
the assignment are very straightforward and enjoyable. All of them are
used to make the transition to AP as seamless as possible.
Task #1
You are to watch the video Guns,
Germs and Steel. (just click on the title)
When you have finished the video go to the AP
Blog and respond to the discussion
post. There are guidelines for how to post, so be sure to read them. When you post, just click on "comments" under the post.
Task #2
Even though notes are not required, it is highly recommended that you to take notes in AP World History. The first type of
notes is lecture notes. The second type is textbook outlines. For both
you should use Cornell Style Notetaking. I have included several
links that explain Cornell Style Notetaking. You will also need to have
composition books for your notes. One for lecture and one for textbook
outlines.
